Influencer Mailer Box Send Out

The Brief: To create and engaging + sharable luxury media/influencer gift box which contained a small tasting sample of Balvenie’s newest addition to their single malt ‘stories range’ – The Tale of the Dog.

The Output: After a lot of creative development and research, we landed on a concept which was composed of a luxury, uncoated, foil embossed box with custom foam fitment, a bespoke wooden laser-cut jigsaw puzzle (complete with AR functionality and built-in branded wooden coaster) which depicted a map of the Balvenie estate, a hand-made copper ‘dog’, a branded A5 printed companion leaflet and of course, a dram of the signature liquid for tasting.

Once assembled, the jigsaw puzzle could be scanned with a smartphone to reveal AR functionality that played a custom video asset, animated and edited in-house by a member of my design team, which showcased the illustrated bottle artwork through animation and also told the story of ‘the Tale of the Dog’ through a narrated audio track recorded personally by the Balvenie Malt Master herself.
