
Nestle Waters:
’Made Better’ Web Design
The Brief: As part of their ‘Made Better’ water campaign, Nestle Waters came to Mission to design a series of web pages for each of their 6 water brands which told the Made Better story and showcased their 1 : 1 click-to-pledge mechanic. This allowed consumers to click and pledge to recycle their water bottle – for each pledge made, Nestle promised to donate a bottle of water to communities in need. Users could track the number of pledges in their location for each brand with an interactive map with a pledge counter that was updated in real-time.
The Output: Working collaboratively with the team in the US, the Nestle in-house developer team and a partner web development agency, I designed the wireframes and UX design of the sites, which involved creative direction of the overall look and feel of the pages, the imagery and design of bespoke elements such as the pledge counter and map along with creative feed-in on the bespoke animation for each water brand page (complete with region-specific voiceover). I also designed the follow up digital ads that went live around the campaign launch. This project spanned months and was a true collaborative effort from all involved.
